Michelle Vickers
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 5years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe meaningful change occurs when we understand both present concerns and the deeper patterns shaped by past experiences. I strive to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal and grow.
Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, integrative, and client-centered. I draw primarily from Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients explore underlying patterns, emotional experiences, and relational dynamics that influence present-day concerns. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based interventions to support symptom relief and practical coping skills. Therapy is a collaborative process where insight and skill-building work together to promote lasting change.
