Megan Beavers, LMFT
Hi, I'm Megan!
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia for the last 9 years, the majority of that time was spent in Community Mental Health. I work now through the Grow Therapy Platform via telehealth. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I enjoy working with individuals and families as they navigate life’s unique challenges, strengthen their self-esteem, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting.
I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should be tailored to meet you where you are. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, gain greater confidence in themselves, and work through obstacles that may be holding them back from living a more fulfilling life.
I understand that life can bring many different roles, responsibilities, and challenges. I bring compassion, understanding, and authenticity to my work, and I value the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and create meaningful change.
Approach to Therapy
I place an emphasis on building rapport and being personable. I want my clients to feel heard and understood in a very real way. I am very patient and utilize a variety of interventions that are uniquely chosen based on my client's preference and needs. I believe that every client is different and offer therapy through a combination of modalities tailored to each unique client and their situation and needs.
