Kim Salinger, PMHNP, FNP, AHN
Many people come to me after feeling frustrated by a system that has focused on managing symptoms without fully understanding why they developed in the first place.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Advanced Holistic Nurse, I take an integrative approach to mental health that considers the whole person—not just a diagnosis.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, stress-related concerns, life transitions, and hormone-related mood changes. Many of my clients are thoughtful, intelligent, high-achieving individuals who know something feels "off" but have struggled to find answers.
My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where we can explore both the emotional and physical factors influencing your well-being and develop a personalized plan that helps you feel more like yourself again.
Approach to Therapy
I believe mental health is influenced by far more than thoughts and emotions alone. Sleep quality, stress, hormones, nutrition, inflammation, physical health, relationships, life experiences, and nervous system function can all play an important role in how we feel. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with an integrative perspective. Depending on your needs, treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, nervous system regulation, and investigation of underlying contributors that may be affecting mood, focus, energy, or resilience. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work with clients to better understand the patterns affecting their health and create sustainable changes that support long-term well-being.
