Amita Ghosh
I believe meaningful therapy requires more than clinical expertise—it requires depth, discernment, trust, and the ability to truly understand the complexities of being human. For over 32 years, I have worked with individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the emotional demands that often accompany high levels of responsibility and achievement.
My approach is thoughtful, highly individualized, and grounded in evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain clarity, heal longstanding patterns, strengthen relationships, and create lasting emotional change.
I am deeply committed to creating a private, emotionally safe, and confidential space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported without judgment. In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I lead transformational retreats for women that offer opportunities for deeper reflection, renewal, and personal growth.
At the heart of my work is the belief that lasting transformation occurs when insight, emotional honesty, and compassionate support come together in a meaningful therapeutic relationship.
Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply individualized. I believe effective therapy is built on a foundation of trust, emotional safety, and genuine human connection. Every client brings a unique history, set of experiences, and way of navigating the world, and I tailor my work to meet each person with depth, respect, and clinical precision. Drawing from evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I help clients move beyond insight alone to create meaningful and lasting change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on understanding the deeper emotional and relational patterns that influence wellbeing, relationships, self-worth, and fulfillment. I work especially well with individuals and couples who are high-functioning on the outside yet internally carrying stress, disconnection, trauma, relationship struggles, or emotional exhaustion. Therapy with me is both supportive and transformative—a space where clients can explore honestly, develop greater clarity and resilience, and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion are central to my practice. I strive to create an environment where clients feel fully seen, understood, and supported while engaging in meaningful personal growth.
