I am a compassionate counselor with extensive knowledge of counseling practices and technique. Adept at creating individualized care and supporting clients through everyday struggles in addition to the overwhelming and critical points in life; Ages 0-65. I am Committed to creating safe, supportive environment for all participants. Approach to Therapy

I work with clients struggling with anxiety and depression. I have expertise in child/adolescent counseling, and perinatal mood disorders. When we meet I will ask questions to get a sense of what's going on, often starting with "What's bringing you in?". From there, we will discuss diagnoses and potential focus for treatment. I am patient led and will gently challenge when necessary. often like to pull from various modalities to help address the client's concerns. I utilize a blend of both skill-based therapy and taking a "deeper dive" to understand what may or may not be contributing to the clients' area of difficulty. A fair amount of psycho-education is also provided, the point being to understand ourselves more so that we can stop the cycle of blame and shame.
