Event Details

Overview: This 90-minute, skills-focused training helps clinicians integrate mindfulness into trauma treatment plans without disrupting established modalities (CBT, EMDR, ACT). Participants will practice brief interventions that can be used immediately in session. Learning Objectives: Identify three mindfulness mechanisms relevant to trauma recovery (attentional control, decentering, emotion regulation). Apply two grounding exercises suitable for the stabilization phase of care. Integrate a 5-minute mindful check-in within EMDR or CBT workflows. CE Information: 1.5 CE credits. Attendance is tracked automatically in TherapyCloud. Complete the in-app reflection to unlock your CE certificate. Who Should Attend: Psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs, and counseling trainees working with trauma-impacted clients. Logistics: Virtual via Zoom. Link provided upon registration. Closed captions available. Post-Session Reflection (TherapyCloud): What mindfulness skill will you pilot with a current client? How will you measure client response next session?
