This training provides an overview of ethical decision-making frameworks, professional ethics principles, and case-based considerations relevant to mental health practice across a variety of service settings. The content is intended to enhance clinical knowledge and support ethical reasoning; however, it is not a substitute for clinical supervision, consultation, legal advice, or advanced specialty training when warranted by the complexity of a case. Participants are responsible for applying course concepts in accordance with their professional scope of practice, applicable licensing regulations, workplace policies, and ethical standards. Completion of this course does not confer certification, credentialing, or authorization beyond that granted by the issuing organization.

Objectives:
- Identify complex ethical dilemmas in key areas of clinical practice.
- Demonstrate knowledge of one’s professional code of ethics when resolving ethical dilemmas.
- Evaluate and apply relevant ethical standards to manage ethical dilemmas.
- Formulate reflective and problem-solving strategies to assess, resolve, and document complex ethical dilemmas.
