Robin Taylor
I'm Robin Taylor, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and domestic violence survivor, and I know how heavy it feels to wonder if you'll ever feel whole again. For years I've walked beside women healing from narcissistic abuse and post-traumatic stress, blending sound, trauma-informed psychology with the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. But healing doesn't happen only in a one-hour session, so I created the Our Time to Bloom app to go home with you. When you work with me, you get both: one-on-one coaching that helps you understand how God designed your body, mind, and spirit to respond to trauma, plus daily support between sessions through weekly podcasts, guided meditations, journals, and personalized healing plans. It's a complete package, with a guide who has been where you are and a toolkit that keeps you supported every day. Give yourself grace. Your time to bloom is now.
Approach to Therapy
As a Christian, I realize how important it is for your healing to incorporate your faith and beliefs. I also know that many well-intentioned family, friends and clergy may try to give guidance when they aren't trauma informed. This can lead to many Christian women struggling with the thought that they are somehow defective. I believe that when you understand the impact of chronically unstable environments and abuse, you can give yourself grace in the healing process. God didn't design you to hold up under abuse. You were never intended for that, you are intended to heal, grow and bloom into the woman God called you to be.
