Dr. Kelly White, PhD, LPC, LCPC, ACS, CCS, CCTP-II
With 27 years of experience in mental health counseling, I help children, adults, and couples navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and difficult life experiences. My therapeutic approaches include EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and other trauma-informed therapies tailored to each client's needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and can work toward emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and meaningful, lasting change.
Approach to Therapy
I take an individualized, trauma-informed approach to therapy that recognizes each person’s experiences, strengths, and needs. I integrate evidence-based and experiential therapies, including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), somatic approaches, and other techniques to help clients work through trauma, anxiety, emotional difficulties, and relationship challenges. What makes my approach unique is my ability to adapt therapy to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, helping clients better understand their emotions, recognize patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and build stronger relationships. Whether addressing childhood trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, emotional regulation, or relationship concerns, my goal is to provide a supportive, practical, and nonjudgmental environment where meaningful change can happen at a pace that feels manageable. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the person—not just the diagnosis. By combining trauma therapy, mind-body approaches, and practical therapeutic tools, I help clients develop greater self-awareness, resilience, emotional balance, and lasting personal growth.
