Julie Gittelson, PsyD.
My experience has included both voluntary and court-mandated clients, which has shaped my ability to meet people wherever they are in the process whether they feel ready for change or still unsure. I also have experience in psychological assessment and an interest in working with athletes and high-performing individuals looking to strengthen their overall performance.
Approach to Therapy
You’ve probably spent a lot of time trying to figure yourself out. Thinking through your patterns, your relationships, your decisions; what works, what doesn’t, and why you keep ending up in the same place. And still, something isn’t shifting. That’s where therapy can feel frustrating because insight alone isn’t always enough to create change. My approach focuses on helping you move beyond just understanding your patterns and into actually working through them. Together, we identify what’s keeping you stuck and start creating shifts that show up in your day-to-day life not just in theory, but in practice.
