Charles PMHNP-BC
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner and founder of Peaceful Presence Mental Health. I work with adolescents and adults who are managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and the ongoing pressure of daily life.
Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally—struggling with focus, follow-through, stress, or emotional exhaustion. I also have a strong focus on men’s mental health, particularly fathers who are navigating responsibility, providing for their families, and trying to stay grounded while carrying a lot.
My approach is straightforward, supportive, and practical. I aim to help you better understand what’s going on, create a clear plan, and build the skills and stability needed to function well day to day.
I offer both in-person care in Brea and telehealth across California.
Approach to Therapy
My approach combines psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and practical therapeutic support. I focus on: • Clarifying diagnosis and patterns • Improving focus, emotional regulation, and follow-through • Reducing anxiety, stress, and burnout • Building consistency in daily routines and habits Treatment is collaborative and individualized. When medication is appropriate, it’s used thoughtfully and alongside strategies that support long-term stability—not just short-term relief. I also incorporate elements of: • Supportive therapy • Cognitive and behavioral strategies • Solution-focused approaches The goal is to help you feel more steady, clear, and capable in your day-to-day life.
